About Holly Goodwin Photography

Holly Goodwin Photography began in the fall of 2009 as Delicate Dewdrops Photography, out of my vocation in creating images devoted exclusively to delving deep into the real and raw sweetness of newborns and small children.  There's so much more to a child beyond how cute they are and how amazing they smell (and oh man, are they and do they!), as their parents quickly learn upon their arrival.  Capturing that childlike authenticity not only became my passion; it became my mission.  Being an MBTI Intuitive-Feeler (NF), I don't take anything at face value and tirelessly search for a deeper meaning to everything.  As you might imagine, this is likewise weaved into my inherent shooting style.

So why Holly Goodwin Photography?  Well, it's simple: My clients grow up.  But the realness, the rawness, and the sweetness continue on with them.  Life's expectations evolve with us from childhood, and that initial temariousness naturally evolves with us: the newborns sit up, the infants walk and speak, the toddlers assert themselves, the children learn 2 + 2, the tweens navigate and graduate high school, and then fall in love.  So while Delicate Dewdrops introduces the first chapter, HGP continues that story.
